Pol Roger – Blanc de Blancs – 2009

Bright light golden colour with a green hue. Youthful nose, flinty and chalky with young fruit, apple, pear, citrus and fresh nuts, rather Chardonnay-driven. Bright and fresh palate, with medium weight, rather dry with a vibrant acidity, freshly crushed apple and pear with lemongrass and lime notes, fine grip and length with a creamy finish. Still youthful but enjoyable, will continue to develop.
