Pol Roger – Vintage – 2008

Bright pale straw colour with a vivid mousse. Discreet but layered nose blending lighter citrus and almond notes with some red berry fruit, plum and pear, vinous with autolytic notes, pastry and butter. Medium bodied with a youthful and bright freshness, creamy texture, fine extract, lemon zest and yellow fruit followed by a long bright finish. Still youthful but nicely balanced and layered.
