Italy,
Friuli Venezia Giulia,
Colour has a medium-deep intensity, boarding on the light, light golden. Generous and intense nose. This is showing a slight presence of oak, there is a fine toastiness. Quite lush and tropical fruit here, with hints of pineapple, mango and apricot. So quite ripe fruit. With a mild spiciness, again those nutty almost like nougat. Good grip on the palate. It is a quite full-bodied style of white wine. It keeps within that frame of bone-dry. Despite that lush rich and tropical fruit, that anxiousness. It does have a bone-dry, in the positive sense, taste. With a well-balanced acidity, so the finish is really fresh. Good length, quite lingering, with lots of layers. Hint of complexity as well. This is far from a young wine it has gotten some age and evolution. I think it is a very good time to drink it, but it should certainly have the potential to be aged more time in a good cellar.
