Switzerland,
Valais,
Bright, with a light golden colour. Intense nose, quite enticing, showing both those stony mineral notes with a high ripeness of fruit; feels almost like late harvest with plenty of tropical fruit in there, very floral with some honeyed yellow fruit. Good grip on the palate, however bone-dry despite that sensation on the nose. Balanced acidity, but it has a lot of grip, there’s a slight tannic sensation. Really mouthwatering, with a bold luscious texture with all that slightly tropical fruit. Some nutty notes. You don’t feel the alcohol, even though the ripeness and viscosity are fairly on the high side. Very pure and very long complex wine, with plenty of character and style. I really like it.
