Dark dense purple core, slightly lighter rim. Spicy notes of pepper, liquorice and ripe dark fruit, some prune notes and dried fruit too. The palate is full and weighty, plenty of fine but young tannin, rounded acidity, crushed berry notes, liquorice and a rather long warm finish.
