Quinta do Crasto – Crasto Superior – 2014

Very dark and inky core, purple black. Youthful nose of dark fruit, cassis and black cherry with mild spices and some leathery notes. Intense palate, almost the texture of a sweet wine yet remaining firmly dry, inky dark fruit, well distributed tannin and a fresh acidity, really long on the finish. Still a bit youthful but potent for sure.
