Youthful appearance here still with a purple hue, dense core. Fresh nose with a lot of floral aromas, violet, dark berry, with cherry and cassis. Good purity of fruit and no noticeable oak. Quite dense palate here. Tannins are quite grainy I would say, but there is still a presence of tannin, giving a good lift to the palate. Acidity is high as well with dark and inky fruit. It still appears a bit youthful and restrained on the finish. It certainly does have the purity and balance to continue to develop for a few years. A bit more than medium weight but good density of fruit and rather long finish.
