Quinta do Quetzal – Reserva – 2013

Dark inky impenetrable colour. Very ripe dark fruit notes, black plum, blackberry and dark cherry with some oak and sweet spices. Dense palate, still a youthful texture with firm tannin, some roasted oak notes, a vivid spiciness and layers of dark fruit, fresh acidity underneath, and a long and dense finish. A rather massive wine, still needing time to develop.
