Dense purple core and ruby on the rim. Pure nose modern dark fruit with cherry, plum, pepper, clove and tobacco. Medium weight with fine balance, rather high but rounded tannin, savoury dark fruit, an herbal spiciness, discreet oak and a long layered finish.
