Dark garnet core with a ruby rim. Pure nose offering some maturity, yet with fresh fruit notes - raspberry, plum, aniseed, tobacco and fine oak in the background. The palate shows good weight and volume with polished tannin a fresh acidity giving a lift to the ripe yet fresh fruit, grainy tannin and a fine oak derived spiciness with a long and pure finish.
