Germany,
Rheinhessen,
Very youthful appearance, slight green tinge and a straw colour. Fine purity on the nose. Clear presence of something stony, something mineral. Youthful fruit, still quite restrained, bordering on just ripe stone fruit I would say. Towards white peach, pear, with some lemony and floral notes. Fine palate there, good grip. Quite full-bodied actually, a bit more than medium weight I would say. There is also a clear presence of extract without appearing bitter. So a nice phenolic presence there, like lemon zest, lime zest, some grapefruit and that barely ripe yellow fruit. Good flavour intensity and doubtlessly a very long finish. So persistent and pure, underlined by a very nice acidity. Quite pleasant already. I have to imagine purity again, because that overall impression combining that slight tropical fruit, with purity. Very good. It would be shameful however to drink too young because this is something that will really develop. Keep it in your cellar for another two, three, four five years or much longer. Very nice wine.
