Riecine – La Gioia – 2007

The colour is ruby/garnet with some evolution; hint of vanilla and new oak on the nose, red and dark berries, liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is dense and chewy, still with a tannic presence, elegant fruit, balanced acidity, very good length and potential - still slightly on the youthful side, attractively made in a traditional style.
