Rivera – Puer Apuliae – 2012

Dense dark ruby colour with a purple core. Ripe dark fruit, prune, fig, dry spices and tobacco on the nose. Dense palate, rounded texture, plenty of sweet/dried fruit with some medicinal herbs, tobacco and a rather long finish. Some maturity and complexity, yet with a slight dry tannic feeling on the finish.
