Rivetto – Leon Riserva – 2010

Medium deep ruby red colour with an orange rim. Developed and intense nose blending red and dark berries, some new wood, tobacco, cocoa bean and mild spices. The palate is dense and structured, ripe tannin and integrated acidity, layers of red and dark fruit with fine oak, elegant spiciness and a long smooth finish. Approaching drinkability, yet with a good potential.
