Bright dark purple colour with a lighter mature rim. Mature and complex nose, some balsamic notes, dried cherry, cassis, tobacco, cedar wood and mild spices. Very nice palate, dense and concentrated, still rather youthful but balanced tannin, layers of Bordeaux-like fruit with cassis and a herbal spiciness, fine oak underneath and a long lingering finish.
