Dense core and a purple hue. The nose blends fine oak and toast with ripe cherry, plum and an herbal spiciness. Rather dense and ample palate with sweet cherry flavours, yet a fresh backbone of acidity, young but ripe tannin, integrated oak and a long finish. Nicely done, still needing some time to open.
