Italy,
Piedmont,
Medium intense ruby-red colour with a hint of blue-purple at the core. Youthful and fresh nose. There is a slight spiciness there. Anise seed, leather, with dark cherry, plum and crushed berries. The palate has medium weight with quite soft tannin. Pleasurable fruit. Really enjoyable and juicy now. With dark plum, cherry flavours. There is a slight hint of leather or animal spiciness I would say. I think it contributes to the charm of this wine. Medium towards long finish. Soft and subtle texture. Good juiciness and drinkability today. A wine I would say for fairly early consumption as it offers such a pleasure already.
