Rocche dei Manzoni – Vigna Madonna Assunta La Villa Riserva 10 Anni – 2007

Medium deep ruby red colour with a tawny hue. Intense nose with some balsamic hints, sweet fruit, jammed red berries, tobacco, dry spices and some floral notes. The palate is rather full with a rounded texture, still with a good dose of tannin that have integrated nicely, sweet fruit, some new oak, a fresh backbone and lingering flavour of dark cherry and orange zest. Good length. Good drinkability and complexity now.
