Roccolo Grassi – 2008

Amarone della Valpolicella
MEDAILLE-TASTED-94-2024
Italy,
Veneto,
Very dark, blue hue. The nose is young and closed with notes of black cherry, dark plim, herbs, mint and some new oak; the palate has very high concentration and density; attractive ripe fruit, yet without too much sweetness; very fine texture with refreshing tannin, bright acidity and dark blackcurrant, cherry flavours. Very long and lingering finish - youthful, but with fine potential.
