Dense dark core with some maturity on the rim. Mature and intense nose offering sweet dark fruit, tobacco, fine oak, sweet spices and some black truffle. The palate is dense and powerful, high ripeness, yet a fine balance with a fresh acidity underneath, ripe tannin, layers of blackberry, cassis and plum with plenty of spice and a long warm finish. Mature and complex with plenty of expression.
