Inky dark purple colour. Intense and complex nose of tobacco, spice box, truffle, smoke and ripe dark fruit. The palate is bold and broad yet a fine freshness and balance all along, ripe dark fruit with plenty of fine tannin, sweet tobacco and spice notes with plum and cassis flavours, and a very long and persistent finish. A big bold and ambitious wine with an approaching complexity.
