Dark centre with a ruby hue. A generous perfume approaching maturity and complexity, it blends cedar wood, tobacco, dried cherry, cranberry, and dry spices. The palate is medium weight, combining sweet fruit flavors with a fresh backbone of acidity, some balsamic notes, pepper, and clove notes. Still a tannic grip on the mid-palate with potential for further ageing but plenty of character and a substantial length.
