Rust en Vrede Estate – Guardian Peak Summit – 2014

Intense and young ruby, purple core. The nose shows good purity with some floral notes like lavender and violet, still a bit young and closed but finely layered with spicy notes and tobacco. The palate sits in between medium and full with fine nuance, grainy tannin, juicy dark fruit, spice box, ground pepper. Already rounded texture and long juicy finish, digest with good drinkability, still fine potential for development.
