Germany,
Baden,
Quite a deep colour here, there is a slight light golden almost with a pink tinge in there. Intense nose, there is a hint of oak, or something lightly roasted. And quite opulent fruit, so those roasted notes with rather ripe stone fruit, like plum, apricot, sweet pear and then some nutty notes. This is a wine that has quite broad fruit, quite lush and opulent, yet I like the dryness here. It is really underlined by bright acidity, so fresh and salivating. Then with those layers of plum, apricot, whatever stone fruit. No, so really fine balance here, because an opulent style. I think the oak is really fine here, we feel a little bit of it. Gently toasted. Good purity all along, long to very long finish. It is really keeping so a really fine example.
