Italy,
Lombardy,
Red wine with a very intense dense purple-black core. Quite shy on the nose at first, it needs some aeration. No oak to talk about, maybe some hints of vanilla; and quite sweet fruit here like dark plum, cassis, darkcherry. It’s a quite full style here with dense fruitiness, youthful extract; we have grippy tannins quite present here. It feels the texture is still rather youthful, undeveloped. It has a nice purity of fruit, the oak is integrated. It has a rather long finish. I just feel this is a wine that is still a bit massive, a bit monolithic, that would need two to three years to open up; but it certainly has the weight and structure to develop for another few years.
