Inky dark purple core. Sweet and perfumed nose, fine layers of violet, cassis, dark plum, tobacco, fine wood and mild spices. The palate is still youthful but fine proportions, sweet dark fruit, rounded tannin, silky and dense with a very good grip and length. Fine material for further ageing, ripe and bold yet with balance and freshness.
