Intense dark purple colour. Sweet nose dried fruit, prune, blackberry liqueur and some tar notes. Very dense and concentrated palate, high extraction, roasted and tar like flavours with dried fruit, prune, raisiny notes and a rather firm tannic finish. An ambitious effort but not very drinker friendly. Should hopefully evolve and soften.
