Medium deep ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Complex nose with some maturity and balsamic notes paired with dried cherry, red fruit, wild herbs and a slight touch of wood underneath. Good grip on the palate, layers of elegant fruit with rich but integrated tannin, and a spicy, long and lingering finish. Good now but should still improve from further ageing.
