Scarbolo di Scarbolo Sergio e Blarzino Gabriella – Pignolo – 2012

Dense opaque core with a lighter rim. Intense nose of fine oak, butterscotch, dark plum, wild berries and tobacco notes. The palate is still youthful with a tannic grip, fresh with good layers of dark fruit, integrated oak and a long finish. However should still become better from further ageing.
