Hungary,
Szekszard,
Medium towards deep colour, ruby core, still fairly youthful appearance. Quite shy nose at first, rather with a spicy appearance, with red fruity and plummy notes; a lot of dry spices in there, pepper, clove, some herbal notes as well. Palate has medium weight, with a red fruity character, like sour red cherry, red plum. Quite marked acidity, still a rather youthful appearance here, also with the presence of slightly dry woody tannins. It starts out quite discreetly, still it feels a bit youthful and restrained, should definitely deserve another few years in the cellar. Medium weight but with an emphasis on extract and a medium-long finish; I would put this back in the cellar for another few years.
