France,
Loire Valley,
The colour has a medium-deep intensity, golden nuance with youthful brightness. The nose suggests high ripeness, some over-ripeness, botrytis affection with notes of pear, quince and honey. On the palate, the wine has a quite intense sweetness. Well underlined by a very fresh and zesty acidity. It is still quite youthful. Still preferably have more time to develop more nuance. Still well-balanced with a medium-bodied structure. Nicely rounded on the finish, quite persistent and long lasting. With the honeyed fruit, sweet pear and a gentle spiciness. Should certainly develop more complexity from further ageing.
