Bright dark purple hue. Youthful but aromatic nose with red and dark berries, clove and orange zest with modest oak. Very good grip on the palate, full and structured with a young tannic bite but balanced with layers of ripe berries, some leather and tobacco, yet pure with a long and lingering finish. Should gain more complexity from further ageing but already showing well.
