Medium toward deep golden colour, not really amber yet, but it perhaps is turning into. It seems like it has gotten some extended oak ageing. Nice intensity on the nose here. Some of that very grapey, like sweet grapes, honey, some candied fruits, and nutty notes with some hints of wood. Nice attack on the palate; spicy and nutty. I think here the alcohol feels well integrated. I rather get a lot of those sweet and candied flavours like marscarpone, chocolate praline. But still with that slightly raw, wine cellar, grape sensation; which is pretty much what I like in grappa. So well balanced with a certain maturity and complexity. Integrated alcohol. Good length, good finish and good quality wood. Good.
