Medium deep colour, ruby red, still with some evolution; nothing blue or purple in there. The nose at first is spicy, with some balmy notes, spice box, leather and quite dark fruit. It’s medium weight on the palate, already with a rounded texture, mellow tannin, and a balanced rounded acidity as well. Quite sweet fruity character here, combining red and dark berries. Quite persistent on the palate, with a certain complexity of those dried spices like cardamom, white pepper. It keeps lingering for a while. A nice drinkable style today, but probably a wine that will continue to develop.
