Medium intense ruby red colour with a lighter rim. The nose is ripe with some maturity and complexity offering an array of dry spices such as cardamom, clove and cinnamon with slightly darker fruit character and generous but well integrated, roasted oak. The palate has good volume, sweet fruity character with some meaty and smoky notes, grainy tannin, already rounded and polished with ripe plum and red berry notes. Quite long on the finish with roasted and vanilla notes, could still get some more time for the oak to integrate on the taste.
