Chile,
Colchagua Valley,
Moderate colour intensity here, ruby-red. Losing some of that beautiful blue-purple. Quite an open nose already. Good intensity there, mixing red and dark berry fruit with some new oak, vanilla. There is a hint of butterscotch, then quite mild spices like cardamom, white pepper. Then quite sweet a fruity character. Quite attractive on the palate with a medium weight. Rounded texture. Quite subtle with juicy red and dark berry fruit. There is some pepperiness there. There is a slight herbal element, like tobacco leaf, black tea. Fine oak. I like those vanilla notes, they are not too dominant. Quite medium weight, but already subtle and rounded with a fairly long aftertaste.
