Siegel – Special Reserve Sauvignon Blanc – 2015
Leyda Valley

Chile,
Leyda Valley,
Very youthful and pale appearance. Pure and intense nose. Very youthful as well. Clearly Sauvignon in a style, but I would say a quite restrained style not overtly aromatic. More with a mineral presence, flintily with youthful fruit like lemon, lime, some passion fruit. The palate has medium weight with good extract, it is really salivating on the palate. Bright acidity. A bit more fruit shining through on the palate, like gooseberry, passion fruit. With those zesty lime and lemon notes on the finish. Attractive, crisp and well made, in I would say, a more cool climate, crisp style of Sauvignon Blanc, that I would happily drink as young as possible.
