France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
A sparkling wine, with a quite light mousse, very fine tiny bubbles; youthful colour, quite transparent with a slight green hint. Generous nose, youthful, no age complexity yet; it’s rather on the floral fruity side, with some hints of lemon zest, lime, melon, and some grapefruit. The palate is very much on the lighter side, it’s a quite gentle mousse; there’s a hint of sugar but it’s close to dry on the palate. Nice creamy texture. Pleasant fruit there, with some ripe pear, apple, some notes of citrus. A rather light finish; not very long, but well-balanced, in a pleasant style for early drinking.
