Simonsig – Syrah Merindol – 2013

Dark bright ruby red core. Pure nose with high ripeness blending dark cherry, cassis, mint, liquorice and pepper. The palate is full and dense, with young but ripe tannin, sweet fruit, and a hint of oak. Quite long and fleshy finish in a modern style, still requiring some time.
