Dark ruby red colour. Plenty of sweet fruit on the nose, crushed berries, sweet tobacco, liquorice and spicy notes, no evident oak. The palate has a very high concentration and good extract, no harshness but still young and grippy, layers of dark fruit and a very long intense finish, good material, should gain complexity from further ageing.
