Spice Route – Malabar – 2012

Dense dark core but the rim suggests some evolution. Very meaty and spicy nose with ripe dark fruit, fine oak, pepper, clove and smoked meat. High concentration on the palate, starting to soften but still with a tannic backbone, high ripeness, sweet fruit and spicy notes, still with noticeable oak and a rather long plump finish.
