St Andrea Vineyards – Nagy Eged Egy Egri Bikavér Superior – 2011

Medium to deep ruby with a purple hint. Fine perfume, floral with red and dark berries, pepper, some meaty notes and a dense concentrated palate, yet with soft extraction. Fine tannin, good freshness and layers of finely spicy fruit, juicy and long with some elegance and complexity. Great potential here.
