Stefan Zehetbauer – Blaufränkisch Ried Steinberg Reserve – 2013

Dark ruby red colour starting to lose the purple. Fine nose blending fresh black pepper and clove with ripe dark fruit and discreet oak. Medium towards full with peppery dark fruit, some meaty notes, and a long and lingering finish. Still a youthful bite but ripe tannin and balanced freshness.
