Stefan Zehetbauer – Cabernet Franc Ried Steinberg – 2016

Dense purple core and a lighter rim. The wine offers some new roasted oak, wood, coffee bean, ripe dark fruit, cassis and a herbal spiciness with some leathery notes. The palate is dense and youthful with a tight texture, yet no hard edges, fresh dark fruit, digest with sage and mint notes, and a dense and long finish. A youthful wine still needing further ageing.
