Austria,
Burgenland,
Light to medium deep ruby-red colour. The nose is displaying some quite cool fruit I would say. More like fresh red berries. There are some mild spiciness as well, of ginger and pepper. Also a slight hint of earthiness and minerality. No oak to talk about. Medium weight on the palate with a good density of fruit. Really with a good presence of freshness in terms of those fresh red berries, spiced up with a bit of that pepper and ginger. It stays with in the medium body framed. It is already a quite rounded texture. Tannins are soft and well-integrated. There is a juicy acidity and a fairly long finish. I would say typical Austrian spiciness. But quite elegant and rounded fruit with a nice drinkability.
