Deep purple core and a ruby rim. The wine shows pure and intense notes of ripe red and dark berries, sweet spices, aniseed, liquorice and clove with mild oak in the background. The palate has softened, still a richness of tannin but fine polish even if youthful, savoury and fresh dark fruit with a long and spicy finish.
