Austria,
Burgenland,
The colour is slightly developed with medium-deep, ruby-red turning into tawny at the rim. Developed nose as well. There is a hint of complexity here. The fruit has nicely meshed together with the spices. Nice sweet fruity character combining red and dark berries; plum, clove, ginger and sweet pepper. Medium weight on the palate. Quite rounded texture now. Rather fine tannin in the background. Fresh acidity, good purity of fruit here. Quite a certain maturity here. I think those spices are starting to integrate again. Nice sweet fruity character and a medium towards long finish. Drinks well now and should continue to develop over the coming four to five years.
