Austria,
Burgenland,
Seems like a rosé colour, but a quite pale one, just with a slight hint of copper. So quite low intensity. Medium-intense, youthful bubbles. Quite fine nose. It offers mostly lighter fruity aromas such as apple, pear, citrus. Obviously there is a slight addition of red berry fruit, such as fresh red berries. A slight hint of toast, breadiness. Good grip on the palate. Fairly dry with a moderate level of dosage. Rather in the extra brut range I would say. Still with a youthful grip and a fresh acidity. In terms of fruit, still a bit unresolved. It should perhaps have some more time to open up a little more, but in terms of crispiness it is rather generous now. Well-integrated mousse on the palate. A medium towards long finish. With some zesty notes, fresh grapefruit, lemon zest.
