Tedeschi – 2012

Amarone della Valpolicella
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
Italy,
Veneto,
Dark ruby/purple. Complex nose with some maturity, some meaty notes with cherry, tobacco, fine wood and liquorice notes. The palate is complex and layered with ripe fruit but no sweetness, refreshing fine tannin and balanced acidity, wild berry fruit and dark cherry with some clove and pepper leading to a long finish, complex with a fine drinkability and good potential for further ageing.
