Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – La Loggia del Cavaliere – 2007

Dark ruby core and an orange rim, nice sweet nose of wild berries, peach, spices and herbs. The palate is dense and tight with pronounced tannin, a herbal spiciness, red cherry and long finish. Good but still on the tannic side.
